Generally speaking, this refers to oral translation. However, it calls for training, talents and skills that go beyond those required for general translation.

That’s why each of our professional interpreters have extensive hands-on experience, in-depth subject-specific knowledge, and an ability to integrate cultural preferences within a split second.

Interpreting Services in Delhi, India

Simultaneous Interpretation

Simultaneous interpretation is commonly used at international conferences, congresses, presentations, diplomatic events, etc.

The interpreter does not wait for the speaker to finish before beginning to translate into the target language. Instead, he/she interprets simultaneously, lagging only a few words behind the speaker. Teams of highly trained multilingual interpreters work in soundproof booths.

Consecutive Interpretation

Consecutive translation is a sub-branch of interpreting. As a translation method frequently used in various fields such as conferences and meetings, it can occasionally be confused with simultaneous translation. In this approach, the interpreter listens to the speaker and waits for a pause, then translates what has been said for listeners. Consecutive interpreting is typically unidirectional, commonly used in one-on-one situations such as site visits, tours, legal settings, business negotiations, and other small group meetings.

Liaison (or link) interpreting

This is an informal form of interpretation, and is best for small business meetings, meeting foreign delegates and hosting official lunches, etc. Liaison interpreting, as a type of consecutive interpretation, is used to facilitate understanding between two parties that speak different languages, which could be two people, an individual and a small group, or two small groups. The interpreter is fluent in both languages to ensure smooth communication.

Sworn Interpreting

With the support of our team of professionals, we provide consecutive, simultaneous or liaison interpreting. We collaborate with sworn (court) interpreters who are authorised to interpret for courts and public authorities. We handpick our interpreters depending on the type of event in question (e.g., wedding or judicial hearing); each of them has undergone meticulous professional preparation as well as training in specialist terminology.

TELEPHONE INTERPRETING

Telephone interpreting is a modern method used where the interpreter or one of the parties is not physically present at the discussion. Over-the-phone interpretation is a convenient and cost-effective solution, as you can get the backup for your bilingual or multilingual communication anytime and anywhere, depending on your business needs.

VIDEO REMOTE INTERPRETING

A relative novelty on the interpreting market is video remote interpreting (VRI), an alternative to telephone interpreting (that can cover sign-language). Video Remote Interpretation connects between you and the interpreter can be made virtually anywhere and on any device via video remote interpretation services. VRI does not require the interpreter to be physically present at the discussion, which significantly reduces the cost of interpreting services.
